Tracker Release Version 3.095
Some changes have been made to the existing Tracker program for tax law changes, MMR VIN decoder, a new product from Credco - DataFlite, and the much anticipated Credit Reporter. Version 3.095 will be available for release on Monday, February 10, 2003. Below is a description of the changes that were made.
Tax Law Changes:
- Tennessee - Added mandatory state sales tax of 2.75% on amounts from $1,600.00 to $3,200.00. The dealer will need to enter 7% in Tax rate one and their local option rate in Tax Rate two for their existing tax rates.
- Virginia - Modified the calculation of the Business License Tax on Gross Receipts. The software allows the dealer to select what is included in the calculation of Gross Receipts from setup program defaults.
- Fixed VIN decoding problems with Manheim Market Report.
- Requires a new download from the Update Wholesale Book Data option from within Books.
- DataFlite is a new product from First American Credco. It upgrades the existing Instant Merge software.
- DataFlite allows the dealer to pull credit reports through the Internet or Modem.
- You will need to contact First American to have your account changed to DataFlite at 800-423-1150.

- Instant Merge Software is still operational and has not been removed from the CD.
- You will need the actual 3.095 CD in order to use the product. It is not available via the download method of updating your software.
- "Credit Reporting" will allow dealers to create a Metro2 formatted file that can be sent to the credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and Transunion).
