Tracker Backups?

Tracker ONLY backs up the company data files, you must provide an alternative backup solution for the forms, custom forms, reports, letters and inventory pictures.
There are many solutions to backup your letters and forms. The easiest is a ZIP disk or CD-RW Drive. Both options create an additional drive letter on your computer similar to the C-Drive. We recommend that you backup the entire contents of your tracker directory at least once a month. This does not replace your daily backup routines. To backup the entire contents of your Tracker directory:

      Double click on My Computer on the Desktop
      Double click on the local c: drive (or drive where tracker is stored)
      Double click on Program Files
      Right click on the tracker directory (Usually TRK)
      Click on COPY
      Click on the Back button until you are back to My Computer View
      Double click on the Drive for your Zip or CD-RW drive
      Right click on an open area of that drive, and click paste

Daily Tracker Backups

To use Tracker's backup, click on the utility menu and click on backup/restore. Make sure you have a floppy disk in the drive.

The Backup and Restore operation requires ALL users to be out of the Tracker Suite program, otherwise certain files cannot be processed!

  • If you have submitted a refund request via e-mail or telephone message, please be assured that we are processing all requests. The refund will be in the form of a check or credit for credit card orders and will be issued within 30-60 days as of the date of the request.
