Forms Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Why can’t I print long contracts in Tracker? A: In most cases this is fixed by changing the bottom margin and/or pagelength settings in the printer. If you are using an Okidata 320 Turbo, we can usually show you how to make the proper settings on your printer. Ifyou are using another type of printer, it may be necessary to call or email the manufacturer for this information. If you are running Tracker under Windows NT, Windows 2000, or Windows ME it is necessary to select “DirectPrint” by clicking the “Adjust” button on the Print Forms screen. Q: Can I program my own forms in Tracker? A: Yes. Tracker Plus includes a forms editor with which users can program their own form files. Tracker Suite includes training videos and help files on this subject. In addition, Tracker Forms specialists are available to answer specific questions at 1-800-543-8085 ext. 1237. Keep in mind that state and federal disclosure regulations must be followed when programming certain forms. In such cases, it may be desirable to have the form programmed by the Tracker Forms Department. Q: What are the special operators in the Forms Editor? A: There are three operator types that can be placed at the beginning of a formula line in a form:
In addition, within the mathematical formula, you may use the following:
Variables that return character information do not require a special operator. Numeric variables require the # symbol only if you are performing a math function on two or more variables.
